Polytech adds Soda Blasting Capabilities

In a continuing effort to improve capabilities, Polytech Industrial, Inc. has aquired a soda blasting system as manufactured by International Surface Preparation.

The soda blasting system allows Polytech to complete blasting operations in process rooms with heavy equipment saturation. Instead of blasting with traditional slag or sand products and contaminating the entire room, the soda can be washed down with the plants traditional sanitizing procedure. Washing the soda down the drain instead of recovering all spent abrasive and then sanitizing. This can save an entire production shift prior to start up.
